I Only Incarnate Preceding An End

They've been affirmed in so many ways
The visions that spring from my earliest days
And I've got some bad news, my beautiful friends
I only incarnate preceding an end
How many times have I chosen this ride?
The answer must surely be lurking inside
In which abodes did I choose to abide?
How many times was I born and then died?

Regardless of how it will go in the end
To Heaven my Spirit on High will Ascend
Where in repose I Am resting and then
I will reincarnate when I'm needed again
Where once I did peer from the eyes of a mask
Taken from this life and given the task
To reconcile lifetimes both sovereign and haunted
My aura could swallow this world if it wanted

But how many ends has my countenance seen?
On how many heads has my countenance been?
Peculiar to recollect nary a one
The previous lives on the tip of my tongue
Is the current locale where we happen to be
In this final yuga they call the Kali
And the reason Ascension is starting to trend
Is I only incarnate preceding an end
