Mirroring deep wisdom and righteous bravery, Ascension explores human emotion and nature, free will and inner conflict, self-limiting beliefs, higher perspectives, identity, imagination, forgiveness and acceptance, faith, honesty, justice, authenticity, intention, attraction, life force, meditation and reflection, voluntary sacrifice, right action, upright living, naturality, death, transformation, the hidden forces that shape our human experience, and a deep awareness of that which remains steady beneath the movement of life.
Written for Life
Though deeply layered and mystical at times, through metaphor, allusion and poetic license, Ascension speaks to people living real lives: working, loving, struggling, questioning, failing and trying again and wondering whether there is a more authentic and purposeful way to move through the world.
What This Book Is Not
A great majority of poems in the work stand on their own, but Ascension is not a standard collection of poems. The poems in Ascension were written in the order they appear and each could be viewed as a "chapter" of the "epic" work. Themes, characters and settings are created, developed, carried and referenced throughout the body, most of which show up in the last poem of the work, so it is recommended to read Ascension from cover to cover before jumping around.

As soon as I finished Ascension, a great amount of quality peace washed over me, and I felt at ease with every moment and decision of my life.
My mind went poof, never to return ---
Trusting the flow of every moment, not needing to plan because I know I'll be covered when I get there. While reading, there were so many lines that were hitting and making me bawl, I couldn't take it anymore in awe of this grand design. Like these lines in particular...
'Thank you Love, You are the proof, That spared me not, An ounce of Truth, Thank you, For the pain and stife, Which blew my mind, And saved my life'
In a moment, I had no choice but to surrender to God completely, feeling like this whole experience was designed perfectly just for me... and it was the funniest thing, because that's what I've been waiting for, to trust God within me. It has been a long journey to this moment, and my body started perfectly automating all processes, plans, and actions. Every doubt now clears perfectly in real time without me trying. My breathing is deep, steady, clear and strong. I feel at peace and unafraid. I wish I could transmit the emotions and sensations I first felt right after finishing Ascension. Stillness. Pure stillness of thought. Replaced by a steady inner knowing.
I can already feel the relief. The stress of impending decisions up until then felt insurmountable, and the only thing I could do was to keep climbing forward with no end in sight, just riding on faith in God.
And then in one moment, it all clicked: if you trust God 100%, it will illuminate your Life and your Path for you in every moment. It feels like that is what I live now and I'm excited to explore it.
Forever grateful for the wonder of this grand cosmic experience. Ascension is genius, a truly immaculate work of heArt.

Reading Ascension was an initiation in itself.
There were moments when Sean’s ability to channel Divine perspective seemed to slow time, inviting me out of the ordinary and into a state of transcendental presence.
This is not a book I simply read. It is a work I sat with, moved through, and allowed to move through me. There is something alive within these pages—something that asks not only to be understood, but experienced.
